Employment exploration services aim to enhance an individual's understanding of competitive, integrated job opportunities in their community, facilitating informed decisions about employment. These services encompass tailored educational activities, learning opportunities, and work experiences. Competitive, integrated employment is defined as work that meets minimum or prevailing wage standards with comparable benefits. Our services involve direct skills development including career education, peer mentoring, job shadowing, and volunteer experiences.
Individualized Home Supports
Individualized home supports (IHS) encompass services provided to individuals residing in their own home or family home, focusing on support and training within community living service. These services can be delivered in the person's home, family's home, or public community spaces, either in person or remotely. Support in community living includes cueing, skill maintenance, guidance, instruction, assistance with daily activities, assistance with coordinating community living activities, or direct supervision. Training involves skill-building and instructional services to enhance the individual's community living experience, aligning with the person’s goals and addressing identified needs from the person's assessment.
Homemaker Services
Homemaker services are designed to assist individuals in managing general cleaning and household activities. This includes light housekeeping tasks and laundry services, with a focus on ensuring the person's well-being and home safety. Our team of homemakers not only deliver cleaning assistance but also offer incidental help with home management activities like arranging transportation, meal preparation, shopping, and simple household repairs. Despite these additional tasks, homemaker cleaning remains the primary service, and the overall service involves monitoring the person's well-being within the home environment.
24-hour Emergency Assistance Services
24-hour emergency assistance provides on-call counseling, problem-solving, and immediate response for non-injury or non-immediate danger health or personal emergencies at a person's home. This service is not a substitute for 911. Immediate response involves timely actions without physical staff presence, utilizing alternative delivery methods that align with the individual's needs as outlined in their support plan.
